Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 ‘coming soon’ with hundreds of fixes

CD Projekt Red’s next major game update is, well, major

The next major patch for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming soon, developer CD Projekt Red said Monday, and will include hundreds of bug fixes and gameplay changes to the game on Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.

As previously announced by CD Projekt, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 will address the game’s unusually fast and lethal police response times, and offer some much-needed options to driving vehicles (and getting them unstuck from the environment). According to CD Projekt Red’s extensive patch notes, the update will also fix visually amusing bugs, like NPCs moving after they’ve been killed and V’s “incorrect position while riding a motorcycle.”

The update will also address numerous crashes. CD Projekt Red says the update will address all platforms, but many crash-related fixes “make a bigger difference on last generation consoles and lower performance machines.”

Cyberpunk 2077’s second major patch, part of CD Projekt’s longterm plan to polish its highly anticipated but botched release, does not have a release date. It was expected much earlier, but was delayed due to a hack at the game developer. The first major update, patch 1.1, was released in January.

Read on for the full patch notes for Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2.
